I am a former Russian soldier who deserted the army after witnessing corruption, brutality, and heinous crimes, including torture, being committed against both civilians and our own soldiers. I was tricked into signing a contract and trapped in a system from which there was no escape. I was forced to participate in something I didn't believe in.
This book is my testimony. It is the story of how a patriotic citizen became a deserter. It is a warning to the world and a chronicle of crimes that must never be forgotten.
